It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...

It's beginning  to look a lot like Christmas at Corgi Cottage.  We will be having our family Thanksgiving today so I was able to spend the past few days decking the Cottage for Christmas. Emma found the entire experience exhausting and needed to take a nap.

I also got to celebrate another sampler finish. I put the final stitch into The ES Spot Motif Sampler last night. Don't you just love the birds and squirrel???

If you are a lover of The Scarlet Letter samplers or would like to be... be sure to check out Nicola's Scarlet Letter Year Challenge. I have a feeling I'm going to be adding many more samplers to my 'Must Stitch' list in the coming year. Why don't you register, join in on the fun and make new stitching friends.
I'll be working on this WIP and hope to have it completed by the end of 2012.

Laurie, what an inspiration you always are to me! Your cottage is lovely, as usual, and puts me in the mood to deck a few halls myself. ;) GORGEOUS spot sampler.. I never noticed how detailed that sampler is, despite the fact I have the chart.

Thank you for a gorgeous post!

Everything is beautiful! Love your feather trees and ornaments and the Christmas samplers.

I think Emma has the right idea--taking a nap on a beautiful Christmas quilt.

Callie Mae is cracking the whip--must get back at it.

So glad you are sharing my Scarlet Letter Year especially as you and Margaret started my love of SL samplers.

Wow...your home is so beautiful. I love that Christmas quilt. My hubby gave me my Christmas present...a nexus 7 tablet early and your blog was the first I looked at with it:-)

Your puppy is adorable too. We love dogs and I have a service dog named Lila who is a German Shepherd Dog. They are wonderful friends and kids aren't they. Lovely stitching and I love the tree with all the ornaments. Maybe someday I will have enough to display.

I love your Christmas decoration, Laurie, so simple and beautiful..... The ES Spot Motif Sampler is gorgeous too, I don't think I had ever seen it before. Emma is a perfect choice for Nicola's challenge. I have joined it too and may go with Doña Dorothea since it is all kitted up.

Love seeing your decorations Laurie and another fantastic sampler finish! There's no way I can keep up with all of you who finish things so quickly but I will be watching the Scarlet Letter SAL from afar. :-) Emma seems to be enjoying the season and I hope Owen is almost back to his normal self now after his surgery.
